Winter Version Of Live-Action Dance Drama Premiered To Retell Story Of Ancient China's Tang Dynasty

The winter version of the dance drama "Changhenge" (The Song of Everlasting Sorrow) was premiered on Friday in the Huaqing Palace, where the story took place, in Xi'an. The romantic drama, performed by Shaanxi Tourism Group, retells the true story of how Emperor Xuanzong of ancient China's Tang Dynasty (618 A.D. to 907 A.D.) fell in love with his favourite imperial concubine Yang Yuhuan, which led to the rise of the concubine and her family from obscurity.
