"I was in the area for brunch and noticed the shark activity on SharkSmart, so I drove to Whitfords Beach and put the drone up and almost immediately spotted the 2.5-meter tiger shark not far from shore," said Liam Baster, who recorded the drone footage on January 2. He said he called the water police while filming to report the shark's presence.
