Jocky Wilson wins final against John Lowe in BDO World Darts Championship; 1982

Professional Darts players, Jocky Wilson (John Thomas Wilson, from Scotland) and John Lowe (from England) play against each other in the final match of the BDO World Darts Championship. This round is the end of the match. John Lowe plays a set first, aiming and throwing his darts, just missing a double 16 score, and follows up with a miss, zero points dart. Jocky Wilson follows, wearing a shirt with his name embroidered onto it, taking a moment to focus, and then takes aim at the dartboard. The Commentator says, "One dart could give him the World Championship...double 16", just as Jocky hits a score of double 16 on the board, winning him the final. The crowd can be heard cheering and clapping. Jocky is seen raising his arms in the air in triumph. He and Lowe shake hands on stage, and hug each other. Jocky Wilson thanks the Officials, including the Referee, the audience give a standing ovation. Jocky walks towards the dartboard and gives it a kiss. Jocky is then given his prizes, a cheque, the trophy, and a magnum of Champagne.
