Queen laughs when cheekily shown camera equipment, UK; 1990

Queen Elizabeth II, carrying daffodils, is introduced to former soldiers or officers of the Welsh Guards regiment during a celebration marking St David's Day and the 75th anniversary of the regiment's formation at a military base. One ex-serviceman makes her laugh heartily, leaning backwards, by showing her something on a camera and proceeding to take a picture of her next to a woman, perhaps his wife. Later introductions produce more conventional interactions, typically a bow of the head or a small curtsey. Many in the crowd wear leek badges or pins symbolising the regiment and its Welsh heritage.
