New York City Mayoral Candidate Curtis Sliwa Votes On Election Day
NEW YORK, NEW YORK - NOVEMBER 02: Republican mayoral candidate, Curtis Sliwa, faces difficulties while voting on the Upper West Side on November 2, 2021 in New York City. Sliwa was told by Board of Election officials he could not vote with his pet cat and then was told he could not wear his signature red campaign windbreaker. After being allowed to vote despite wearing his windbreaker, the ballot machine became jammed, forcing election officials to step in and fix it. Finally, Silwa's ballot was retrieved and he successfully voted after over as hour. (Footage by Alexi Rosenfeld/Getty Images)
