BAMBOO JUDAS
Requested by viewer in Salisbury, Zimbabwe. To celebrate Easter in Mexico, artists known as cartoneros, construct huge 10-foot judas figures of bamboo and papier mache. At the end of Holy Week, the medieval Passion Play culminates with the destruction of the judas figures in a spectacular bonfire.
