GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - JULY 14: Residents of Gaza, who have difficulty in obtaining their basic human needs under the Israeli blockade, are trying to produce cleaning supplies with primitive methods without taking the necessary security measures.Gazans, who have to use unhygienic tools such as sand and sacks to clean their kitchen utensils, are in demand for cleaning materials produced with limited means.Haji Saleh Abu Zahir stated that they produce cleaning materials such as shampoo and detergent which cannot be imported into Gaza due to the Israeli blockade.Zahir emphasized that the prices of cleaning supplies have increased five times since the war.Nearly 38,700 Palestinians have since been killed, mostly women and children, and more than 89,000 injured, according to local health authorities.More than nine months into the Israeli onslaught, vast tracts of Gaza lie in ruins amid a crippling blockade of food, clean water and medicine.Israel is accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice, whose latest ruling ordered it to immediately halt its military operation in the southern city of Rafah, where more than 1 million Palestinians had sought refuge from the war before it was invaded on May 6.
