Residents were forced to evacuate as a massive wildfire broke out in South Carolina, burning 1,600 acres near Myrtle Beach on March 2, 2025 in Carolina Forest, South Carolina. Governor Henry McMaster declared a state of emergency as more than 100 fires continued to burn across the state due to unusually dry conditions and gusty winds.
