Rishi Sunak hosts Small Business Council meeting; ENGLAND: London: Westminster:EXTRushes Log:Rishi Sunak MP (Prime Minister) speech SOT- Right / well good morning everyone, welcome to number 10 / well, let's get cracking / I come from a small business family, so I've got enormous respect for anyone who has taken that entrepreneurial plunge, has that entrepreneurial drive / it's not just about the initial light bulb moment, it's about the guts and the determination that all of you have to see it through and then inspire lots of other people behind your vision / and that's what everyone here has done / whether it's Tom who came up with the idea, all of us who are watching the cricket this weekend would've, uh, would've seen Tom's products, or I think we've got Rashina in the audience somewhere as well, who came up with her idea for Insane Grain around her grandmother's kitchen table- And then with the likes of Walburtons and Harry Kane of all people has brought it to bakeries up and down the country / this room, not just up here, all of you, this room is full of people who have incredible stories like that / and my job and my desire is to help all of you succeed because celebrating your success is something that is good for the country / and what we need to make sure is that the UK is the best place in the world to start a business, to grow a business, to scale a business / so I'm incredibly inspired by everything that you've all done / I wanna make sure that others are inspired too, because when that happens, it's great for the UK and you guys are a shining example of what we need to do more of / so thank you all for being here / and without further ado, I was gonna ask you to join me in welcoming our three fantastic panelists, Tom, Tessa, and JordanGV of Sunak and audience applauding Tessa Clarke (Olio food-sharing app boss), Jordan Schwarzenberger (Arcade Media entertainment company co-founder) and Tom Beahon (Castore’s co-founder).
