Russian forces carry out missile attack on railcar repair facility in Ukraine
KYIV, UKRAINE - JUNE 5: Russian forces carried out a missile attack on the Darnytskyi Railway Wagon Repair Plant in Ukraine's capital city of Kyiv on Sunday, June 5.A railworker injured during the attacks was treated at the hospital.Oleksandr Kamyshin, the CEO of state-owned Ukrainian Railways, said four Russian missiles hit the plant.Kamyshin officially announced that there was no military equipment on the territory of the plant."This factory was repairing freight cars, including those we used for grain exports," he said.Meahwhile, Serhiy Leshchenko, the advisor of President Zelensky's chief of staff, said: "This factory does not produce any weapons. This is a peaceful factory for civilians to deliver goods to global and local markets."After the attack, repair work was rapidly started at the facility.
