Hong Kong: People Celebrate Landslide Election Victory
HK's Pro-democracy candidates won a stunning victory in district elections on Sunday. (Nov 24th) The pro-democracy parties took 390 of 452 district council seats or nearly 90%. Also, democrats took control of 17 out of 18 district councils. They won all elected seats in Wong Tai Sin and Tai Po district councils. After the election, people celebrate People celebrated the landslide victory of the pro-democracy camp in the District Council election by sharing drinks on the street.
