Raul Castro's daughter talks sexual diversity at S
San Francisco, 25 may (EFE).- The daughter of Cuban President Raul Castro, Mariela Castro, talked about gay rights to some 100 people attending a sexual diversity conference in San Francisco, but declined to talk to the press. The Thursday conference was the latest stop on Fidel Castro's niece's controversial US tour to discuss the political struggle of Cuban gays since the 1960s. Last week the presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney criticized the U.S. State Department's decision to provide a visa for Mariela.
