Senator Johnson says hydroxychloroquine not like right to try medicines for coronavirus at committee hearing
Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Ron Johnson of Wisconsin says at a hearing on outpatient care for coronavirus patients that he completely agreed with practicing protocols like randomly controlled trials, but at some moments in history of medicine that doctors had to be allowed to practice medicine, hydroxychloroquine was not a prime example of right to try because it was fully approved whereas right to try said if the drug had been proven safe through the FDA approval process without final efficacy approval, a patient and the doctor still had to try, doctors with courage to practice medicine and try things like ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine had been scorned and worse which made no sense whatsoever.
