Senator Schumer objects to Trump judicial nominee for defending discrimination

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York says nominee Thomas Farr for the District Court of the Eastern District of North Carolina had a long career working against the rights of unions and workers to organize, they demonstrated partisan who had defended challenge to congressional maps drawn by North Carolina Democrats, vigorously defended North Carolina Republicans in a case overturned by the Supreme Court for discrimination, restrictive voter ID laws as a minor inconvenience for voters which the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals determined was discriminatory intent, questioning putting people on the bench to support lost the plainly discriminate against people of color while conservatives could find folks who did not have those kinds of egregious pieces of behavior.
