Severe lake-effect snow created https://x.com/NWSIWX/status/2011621235260809365 dangerous conditions in New Buffalo, Michigan, on Wednesday, January 14, as intense snowfall and strong winds combined to produce 'treacherous' travel conditions, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). Video filmed by Nathan Voytovick shows snow being blasted sideways from strong winds on the shore of Lake Michigan. 'Multiple reports of this band producing 2 inch per hour rates.
