RUSHES: Television: 'Sharper' premiere: Red carpet interviews

Television: 'Sharper' premiere: Red carpet interviews; ENGLAND: London: BFI Southbank: INT Sebastian Stan (Max) red carpet interview SOT: Q: You play these dark, gritty, yet so charming characters so well, what is it about these kind of roles that attract you to them? Stan: This one was a great opportunity to work with Juliane (Moore), obviously, one of my favourite actors of all time so that was a no brainer and then reading the script I was so surprised about what happened at the end of it, I was intrigued from the start. It looked like a fun inspiration so I went for it. Q: I like there's a dance scene, is that something you're pushing or do directors just know that you love it? Stan: No, actually Ben (Director) had this idea for this dance scene and I said 'Really?'. He thought we needed this moment in the movie. Then we got Susan Stroman (Theatre Director) to direct and choreograph who was one of the biggest legends on Broadway, so the whole thing was super fun. Q: I was going to ask if it was choreographed or freestyle. Stan: No, she helped us with it, but we were encouraged to bring our own moves to it and when I'm encouraged there' s always a good shoulder move you 've got to throw in. *Laughs* Whole cast GVs - including Julianne Moore (Madeline)
