Tourists visit the Shenyang Imperial Palace (Ê¢¾©»Ê¹¬, Sh¨¨ngj¨©ng Hu¨¢ngg¨ng), the imperial court of the early Qing Dynasty located in the historic center of Shenyang, Liaoning Province, northeastern China. Built between 1625 and 1636 under the reign of Nurhaci and his successor Hong Taiji, the Shenyang Imperial Palace served as the primary seat of Manchu imperial power before the Qing Dynasty relocated its capital to Beijing in 1644. The complex, covering approximately 60,000 square meters and comprising over 300 rooms across 70 structures, was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004 as an extension of the Imperial Palaces of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It remains the only surviving imperial palace complex in China outside the Beijing Forbidden City.
