Larry Ellison, CEO of the software company Oracle and currently the richest man in the world, has invested £1 billion to build the Ellison Institute of Technology (EIT) in Oxford. The research institute is a collaboration with Oxford University which will use technology to address global challenges in health, food security, and climate change.
