Sinan Dede Tomb in Isparta Baladız village,Türkey - HD stock video

The Sinan Dede Mausoleum, located in the village of Gümüşgün, Gönen District, Isparta, is one of the few examples in the region that has preserved the Alevi-Bektashi culture spatially and structurally to the present day. Inside the mausoleum is a sarcophagus belonging to the man known as "Seyyid Sinan Baba," a soldier who Turkified and Islamized Anatolia and a great saint, one of the Anatolian and Khorasan saints. Because there is no endowment or inscription, the exact date of the structure's construction is unknown. However, information obtained from various sources suggests that the structure was built after the founding of the Ottoman Empire.
