Mary Lou McDonald says Conor Murphy needs to meet family of murdered Paul Quinn
Sinn Fein leader Mary Lou McDonald says there is no suggestion Northern Ireland's Finance Minister Conor Murphy is “covering anything up” regarding the murder of Paul Quinn, and says Mr Murphy and the Quinn family need to meet in person.Mr Quinn was attacked in County Monaghan in 2007. After the murder, Sinn Fein powersharing minister Conor Murphy said Mr Quinn was a criminal. He has withdrawn the remarks and apologised to the family.But Mr Quinn's mother said Mr Murphy had “put our family through hell”.
