Skier Nearly Gets Caught In An Avalanche While Going Down A Steep Peak

VORARLBERG, AUSTRIA - MARCH 11: Skier nearly gets caught up in a small avalanche when he tried to powder ski on untracked snow on March 11, 2017 in Vorarlberg, Bregenz in Austria. The footage was captured on his action camera and it shows that as he started to ski on the steep slope, a snow slab comes loose and starts to crumble down. He was extremely lucky to be able to get out of this avalanche or the day could have ended very badly for him. No one can ever tell when things go wrong on action spots like this. Fortunately, no one got hurt in this case. (Footage by YT: Gunyong An/Licet Studios via Getty Images UGC)
