Nighttime SpaceX Launch Surprises LA Residents
SpaceX's Falcon 9 https://www.spacex.com/launches/sl-11-30 launched 28 Starlink satellites into orbit from California's Vandenberg Space Force Base in the early hours of Sunday, November 23, surprising some Los Angeles residents with the nighttime launch. This footage taken by Peter Sark shows the launch, which occurred shortly after midnight, over a freeway in Los Angeles on Sunday. 'Bro, it's like a f***ing meteor,' a man could be heard saying in the footage. The first stage booster landed on a drone ship in the Pacific Ocean after stage separation, according to SpaceX.
