Spindle tree Euonymus europaeus autumn pink HD video - HD stock video
Three video clips (10 seconds each) of glorious pink spindle berries on a spindle tree. This is one of the spectacular sights of autumn in Surrey, southern England. The spindle tree (Euonymus europaeus) is quite anonymous for most of the year, but in autumn its narrow red-pink leaves and pink fruits make it unmistakeable. Inside each 4-part berry is an orange seed (seen later when the fruit is ripe) with a sweet, fleshy outer coating - much appreciated by birds. Full 1080p HD video from Canon EOS 7D. These clips were taken with a long-focus lens resulting in shallow depth of field. As a result, much of the frame is in soft focus. There is no sound track associated with these clips.
