Teknofest Istanbul kicks off
ISTANBUL, TURKEY - SEPTEMBER 20: Teknofest Istanbul, Turkey’s first aerospace and technology festival, kicks off on September 20, 2018 in Istanbul. The festival is being organized by the Turkey Technology Team Foundation (T3) and the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality to promote and to showcase Turkey's rapid advance in technology and will run until Sept. 23 at the new airport in Istanbul. Justice and Development (AK) Party Sakarya MP Kenan Sofuoglu's Kawasaki H2R model motorcycle, Soloturk F-16 aircraft, Red Bull Racing Formula 1 car, "Tesla P100 DL", "Lotus Evora 430 GT", "Aston Martin The New Vantage" and Turkish Airlines (THY) aircraft competed in a race at the opening of the festival on Thursday.
