Senate Republicans cite cartel industry growth, tragedy as motivation for anti trafficking bill

Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn says at a press conference to introduce the Stop Taxpayer Funding of Traffickers Act that President Biden's open border policies have emboldened the cartels and caused human trafficking to grow from a half billion dollar a year industry in 2018 to a $13 billion a year industry, criminal cartels are earning as much as $14 million each and every day, Cindy Hyde Smith of Mississippi adding that after their visit to the border one could never forget those stories of what's happening there and she would never forget what the children 12 to 16 that traffickers were after.
