Texas Congresswoman Veronica Escobar says at a Congressional Hispanic Caucus press conference to demand that Kilmar Abrego Garcia be returned after deportation to a prison in El Salvador that the violation of the Constitution and inhumanity did not just apply to immigrants or people who were legally in the country, as they were seeing the administration target anyone who was brown or black as though they were un-American or unworthy of American protections under the law, raising the question of how many more innocent people had been targeted, how many more innocent lives had been ruined, and how many more people they did not know about as the Trump Administration continued to lie about it.
