Humanoid Robot Welcomes Bank Customers In Osaka

OSAKA, JAPAN - JUL. 21: The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ introduced a humanoid robot "NAO" on July 21, 2015, at an Osaka branch. The 58-centimeter-tall NAO will serve until July 24, welcoming customers in Chinese, English and French as well as in the Osaka dialect. NAO can understand 19 languages. NAO will reappear at a Tokyo branch in August on a trial basis for full-swing introduction as the bank expects more foreigners to visit Japan prior to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics.
