US: Severe Storms Moving Through New Jersey
The National Weather Service has issued the first severe thunderstorm warning for Central Jersey on Aug 7th. At 1:52 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was over Peapack-Gladstone with winds up to 60 mph and quarter-sized hail. That storm was moving northeast into Morris County. At the same time a severe thunderstorm was over Kendall Park and was headed for New Brunswick. Storms are up and down the Route 1 corridor from Trenton to Woodbridge with high winds and heavy rains.
