The singer Ana Torroja respects Amaia Montero's decision to publish her famous photograph: "I don't have an opinion about it either. If she wants to post that photo it will be because she feels calm with it or because she needs something from this photo, she needs to cause some effect with that photo. When asked if the image has impacted him, he replies: "well, it's that taking a picture in bad light, without makeup, well, we can all go out." Ana Torroja tells how she lived through the cancer that her mother suffered: "Not me, personally, but the song is inspired by my mother, who did go through it and in the process since she was diagnosed and the whole process of the disease I have experienced it very closely". He recalls the importance of knowing how to care for those who suffer from the disease: "it is difficult for the patient but it is also difficult for the family. Really, what you have to do is be there, supporting, hugging when needed, allowing you to breathe when they need, too. Being there and giving lots of love."
