As a result, the farm owners of cattle breeders in 8 upazilas of Jessore are spending their days in despair.Hashmat Ali of Hurgati village has reared the most talked about animals in Monirampur upazila of Jessore. He kept two cows prepared for sacrifice. The owners of the firm claimed that the market has not been running for the last 3 months due to the corona. Apart from this, there is no sign of hope in the market for outside consignment traders. As a result, in the face of sacrifice, this is the situation which will cause financial loss to the owners of the animals.The farmers said that they are frustrated by keeping animals (cows) for sacrifice. They said that our country is also raising cows by spending a lot of money on wheat bran, khail and rice.Monirampur Upazila Animal Resources Officer Abu Jar Siddiqui said 50,000 to 60,000 goats have been prepared for sacrifice in the upazila this year.
