Crowd gathers to watch sea turtle released into the ocean

This large sea turtle was injured by a boat propeller. His shell had a significantly large gash in it. Without help, he would never have survived. A local sea turtle rescue group saved him. He was at the aquatic hospital for about 14 months. Finally, he was able to return home after a lot of care by veterinarians, loving staff members and countless volunteers. The woman in the green shirt wearing the back pack started the wonderful rescue group, Sea Turtle Recovery. They are a wonderful group that rescue sea life that has been found on the beaches either due to pneumonia, injury or from eating trash from our oceans.
