Cyclist Lance Armstong Speaks Before The Event. --------------------- Further Information On The Event: Cyclists, runners, walkers, cancer survivors and spectators of all ages will join together and pick a fight with cancer at the LIVESTRONG Challenge Philadelphia, hosted by LIVESTRONG. Over the past 14 years, LIVESTRONG Challenge participants and donors have raised more than $60 million to help people battling cancer live life on their own terms. This year, due to the generous support of our corporate partners, 100 percent of participant and donor gifts to the LIVESTRONG Challenge series will go directly to support our programs and initiatives in the fight against cancer. Last year, participants raised $3.2 million at the fifth LIVESTRONG Challenge Philadelphia.
