Canadian Tourism To U.S. Drops Dramatically Amid Trump's Rhetoric - NewsHour
GREENSBORO BEND, VERMONT - JUNE 27: Tourists drink beer at Hillstead Farm Brewery on June 27, 2025 in Greensboro Bend, Vermont. Canada sends more tourists to the U.S. than any other country. Last year, Canadians made over 20 million visits to the U.S. and spent more than $20 billion. But in June, car crossings to America dropped by 33%. That's the sixth consecutive month of decline. Tourism across this northern part of Vermont is dependent on Canadians, yet they are nowhere to be found. Tariffs on beer products are an additional 25%, which increases the prices by 43% above cost.
