Türkiye, Spain sign declaration to enhance judicial collaboration
MADRID, SPAIN - NOV. 13, 2025: Turkish Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunc met with his Spanish counterpart Félix Bolaños García in Madrid following the OECD 10th Global Roundtable on Equal Access to Justice on Thursday, Nov. 13.Tunc discussed the investigation into the death of university student Rojin Kabais, emphasizing that “the cause of death has not yet been clarified, but unlocking the phone is of critical importance.” He expressed confidence that Spanish cooperation would “contribute to justice and strengthen friendship between the two nations.”Following the meeting, the two ministers signed a joint declaration to enhance cooperation in criminal matters, including counterterrorism, organized crime, and digital justice.(Footage by Turkish Ministry of Justice /Anadolu Agency via Getty Images)
