Two dads managed to escape uninjured after a tree came crashing down while they were sitting by the fire at a home in Virginia on April 12. Chris Johannsen told Storyful his whole family had been enjoying the fireplace five minutes before the tree came crashing down. "Luckily [our] wives had gone to the house in front of us and we had sent the kids in to watch a movie. We were getting a fireplace going to do s'mores for the kids. We were enjoying a nice glass of bourbon, when crack, crack, and boom," Johannsen said. Security cameras at Johannsen's home captured the terrifying incident unfolding on April 12. "We almost died!" one of the men is heard saying. "Dad, what was that?" a child asks his father. Neither man was injured by the incident, Johannsen told Storyful.
