PARIS, FRANCE - FEB 28, 2024: Two yellow armadillos, endemic mammals of the Americas, were born in the Paris Zoological Park on Wedmesday (Feb. 28), located in the capital of France. Yellow armadillos are distinguished by the six bands on their upper shell. Armadillos, whose bodies are covered with a strong shell like armor to protect against external threats, are classified as threatened by habitat loss and hunting by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
