Miniature maglev Shinkansen floats on rails just like real thing
Video footage shows miniature maglev Shinkansen trains speeding along a large diorama set up at the JR Nagoya Takashimaya department store exhibition space. Offered by Nagoya-based Noel Corp. after a development period of six years, the 1/150th-scale (N-gauge) model train set floats over its magnetized rails just like the real maglev Shinkansen it is based upon. The video footage was taken by Akihito Usui of The Asahi Shimbun.
