Graphic signs attract passenger attention at train stations
Video footage shows sign projects at two train stations attracting aesthetic notice over the internet. At the entrance to Kintetsu Railway Co.’s Kuwana Station in Kuwana, Mie Prefecture, direction signs glued flat to the ground create an optical illusion that make them appear to be standing, depending on what angle they are viewed from. At Nagoya Municipal Subway’s Kamimaezu Station in central Nagoya, signs in a distinctive font, made from carefully cut and arranged strips of tape, point travelers to their destinations.
