Everything except sweets black and white at new teahouse in Kanazawa

Video footage taken on July 27 in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, shows the interior of Monokuro Chaya, a teahouse opened this July where everything inside is designed to appear as a black and white drawing-including the Edo Period prints on its walls. The caf? was conceptualized by owner Yoshiyasu Sakagami, 35, who says he came up with the inspiration while pursuing his hobby of coloring white sneakers black. (Shinkai Kawabe)
