SHANGHAI, CHINA - 2015/06/09: A view of the Waibaidu Bridge also known as the Garden Bridge in English. The structure was the first all-steel bridge in China and is the only surviving example of a camelback truss bridge in the country.Shanghai became an important trade hub in the 19th century after it was forced to accept European trade following the First Opium War. Shanghai enjoyed a massive period of growth in 1990s following Deng Xiaoping's economic reforms. With over 25 million inhabitants, Shanghai is the world's third most populous city.
