Washington State Congresswoman Marie Gluesenkamp Perez moves to advance her privileged resolution first noticed days earlier that Congressman Chuy Garcia of Illinois filed nominating petitions to be on the Democratic primary ballot, on November 5th his Chief of Staff Patty Garcia submitted her own paperwork to enter the primary, on November 6th after the filing deadline Garcia confirmed he would not be seeking another term and would be withdrawing his nominating petitions, therefore that Garcia's actions were beneath the dignity of his office and incompatible with the spirit of the United States Constitution.
