Koala's Quest for Sleep Disrupted by Pesky Currawong
We all appreciate a good sleep. But this koala in Mt Murray, NSW, was robbed of some much-needed snooze time by an irksome and noisy currawong wanting to play. Phil Harrison shared this footage from November 14, where a koala nestled up against a tree is continuously awoken by the bird. The video shows the koala waving off the cheeky currawong, which appeared unwilling to yield. His patience pays off, however, as the fluffy marsupial finally gets some shut-eye.
