Joe Perry: We basically put into this record what we as rock and roll fans find exciting about that kind of music. When we were sitting in the audience watching The Yardbirds, or Led Zeppelin, or The Stones, or any one of those bands, or Fleetwood Mac. When we were kids watching those bands the things that they did that excited us is basically what we incorporated into the show. You may not be able to tell where it comes from but we do. All performers do. They take a little bit from what they see and they turn it around and make it their own and feed it back. And so we basically picture ourselves sitting in the audience thinking "What do we want to see a band do?"
