Kevin Spacey: Well I was born in New Jersey and raised in Los Angeles, CA.Interviewer: And she really drove you to audition?Kevin Spacey: She really drove me to acting class and all sorts of music lessons and things so my family, my father and my mother were very supportive from very early on. I got lucky, I found a drama class in high school that was an extraordinary place where my fellow nominee Mare Winningham and I did plays together and at the age of 19 I auditioned for and got accepted into the Juliard school of drama in New York and moved to New York and studied for 2 years and then have been making my way in the world ever since.
