A woman in Honolulu, Hawaii, was thrilled to receive a shaka sign from a bus driver after she let the massive vehicle merge into her lane, recently posted footage shows. Video captured by Jasmine Elizabeth Vargas Francisco shows the friendly motoring moment. Francisco told Storyful she 'allowed a bus to cut in front of me and, in Hawaii, they signal a thank-you with a shaka/mahalo (thank you in Hawaiian) sign, bringing joy to us.' In the video, Francisco can be heard saying, 'I let him go, because that's the right thing to do. He better throw the shaka.' Just as she starts to question whether the bus driver will signal to her, a digital hand appears on the back of the bus, expressing thanks, much to Francisco's delight. Francisco wrote, 'This will always make my day, only in Hawaii!'
