According to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department (SDFD), crews arrived on scene to find "multiple" cars and houses on fire, and began evacuating area residents. Forest Gallagher, a resident of the area, heard the large sound caused by the plane crash and walked over to the wreckage to capture the footage. "I was investigating what happened after I heard a large boom at 3:45 am," Gallagher said. "I walked a block over and saw a car on fire, along with other cars on fire." The footage shows a car engulfed in flames, with SDFD crews on site. "I asked the police there what happened," Gallagher said. "They said a plane had crashed on the street."
