William Goldman Had a Terrific Time Making 'The Princess Bride'
Yes, it was a terrific experience. That's one of those things where that has nothing to do with the fact that the movie ends up as a quality picture or not, because sometimes you can have a terrific experience when the movie is a lox, and sometimes you're gonna have a terrible experience and the movie can be wonderful. But in this case, if the movie is wonderful, which we hope it is, yeah, we all liked it. We were introduced last night at the Toronto Festival of Festivals, and Mandy Spintinkin said he wished, because it might be the last time we'll all be together, and he said, we wish somebody would take a picture of it and then we could all go play basketball. Just basically to continue, because I think everybody connected with the picture really loved making the picture.
