It is located next to Agios Ioannis resort ( Saint John resort ) and is popular mostly to locals as a hidden gem, as it's not widely spread among the tourists. Despite the government's mandates for social distancing because of the Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic outbreak, the beachgoers appear not to hold the required safety distance. Greece relaxed the lockdown and lifted most of the travel ban measures to jumpstart and boost the tourism industry as it is one of the main income sector in the country's economy. Mykonos is one of the most popular and famous island destinations in the Mediterranean and Europe, but recently some covid cases appeared.
